This incredible motor sports competition takes place over 24 hours during a week in June, in the Sarthe department (72) in France. The 24 Hours of Le Mans race is a high-status sports event and one of the most prestigious races in the world together with the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500. From the qualifying sessions on Wednesday and Thursday evening, to the crossing of the finishing line on Sunday, this is a week of intense emotions for professionals and motorsport lovers alike. A unique feature of this legendary endurance race, with its twists and turns of fate over a 13.626 km course, is that it uses a 4 km part of the Bugatti racetrack but also a section of the national main roads that are open to traffic the rest of the year in the direction of Tours.

The mythical Bugatti racetrack in Sarthe in France is also home throughout the year to other endurance, speed and demonstration races for thrill-seekers who crave high doses of adrenalin: these include the motorcycle Grand Prix, the Le Mans Classic, and more.
