The whole ambiance and the spirit of the original decoration of this ground-floor room, known as the little musician’s room, stems from the owners’ purchase of a lovely period trumeau which depicts a young musician gently watching over the guests sleeping in la Groirie. This room embodies the lifestyle of the Ancien Régime, with its timeless charm; its antique wood panelling painted in pastel and flecked colours, and its gently curved fireplace, with the finishing touch provided by its ribbon fabric and its marquetry furniture. A further delightful feature is its bathroom (shower), with natural stone flooring incorporating black slate taco tiles.
